At the time of my first session with Amy, we were three months into the Covid-19 pandemic. I was already in a “funk” coupled with the added stress and anxiety of what has become our new normal. I was hoping for some direction, inspiration and encouragement. From the first session Amy was the perfect psychological reinforcement with her intuitive mindfulness and consistent support. I was extremely fortunate to receive coaching from Amy Stanwood. I am a mom, wife, teacher, and a runner. I also have depression. I work hard every day to manage this depression and live a full life. Amy helped me develop some strategies which are helping me to be present in the moment I’m in. We came up with some mantras and practices to help me get the most out of each day and to accept and be grateful for where I am. Today I took some time for myself and enjoyed being in the moment on one of my favorite trails. Learning to enjoy and appreciate my day are huge accomplishments for me.
